Here’s my issue with this whole Chick-fil-a debacle. I’m the type of person who truly believes that you should be able to believe whatever you want and have it be your business and your’s alone. Christian, atheist, black, white, gay, straight- live your life without throwing it in other people’s faces! The people protesting Chick-fil-a and saying how sick the owner is, they’re issue stems from him supposedly being “closed minded”. If you really think about it, how closed minded are you all being right now? The moment someone disagrees with what you believe in, you freak out and being to completely bash that person and call them wrong. That, to me, is so closed minded. Now, the owner did not say that he wasn’t going to serve gay supporters or gay people. He didn’t say that he wasn’t going to hire people who fit into that category. He simply said that he supports traditional marriage, like so many conservative Christians do and everyone who is continuing to make a big deal out of him stating his belief (when asked) sincerely needs to grow up. This is coming from a completely neutral point of view. Just go on, doing whatever it is you do instead of throwing your issues and your beliefs in other people’s faces.
